PERC Coffee

PANTHER’S EYE ROASTING COMPANY...roasted our first batch in the spring of 2010. It quickly became clear we needed a shorter name. Luckily, the acronym PERC worked great.

Lone Wolf Lounge

A neighborhood watering hole off the beaten path for most tourists. This bar is serving the best cocktails in town in a cozy, laid back atmosphere. You are guaranteed to find great company as well as a tasty drink.

Graveface

Part record label, part pinball arcade, part record and oddities store Graveface is helping keep Savannah cool and spooky. Unique items fill the store from corner to corner. You find rare albums as well as taxidermied squirrels. It is also a fun time seeing what is new at Graveface.

Starland Yard

“Let’s go to the yard!” Starland Yard is a food truck park that offers a variety of rotating cuisines in Savannah’s Starland District. Simply start a tab that applies to all the trucks and bars in the yard, grab yourself a frozen cocktail and a bite to eat, and enjoy some lawn games or the local band that night! Partners Guy Davidson and Nico Ormand built their food truck playground in 2019 using repurposed shipping containers transformed by local muralists. While favorites like “Strange Bird BBQ” and “Dark Shark Tacos” regularly come and go, the yard is also home to chef Kyle Jacovino’s Neapolitan-inspired “Vittoria Pizzeria” and the “Yard Bar”.  

Bonaventure Cemetery

Savannah is known as one of the most haunted cities in America, so you have to visit at least one cemetery during a visit. Bonaventure is known for its beautiful views and historic residents. Take a tour to hear the history of the city and some spooky stories.

Forsyth Park

Forsyth Park sits in the heart of historical Savannah, shaded by massive trees draped with Spanish moss. From the North to the South end, a walk through the park will put you at ease. The park is home to the famous Forsyth fountain, which is more than 150 years old and is the star of many travel brochures and Savannah artwork. If you’re lucky enough to visit on a Saturday, swing by the Farmer’s Market from 9AM to 1PM to grab some local produce, fresh flowers, and honey from nearby farms. Picturesque, sunny, and quiet - Forsyth Park is a can’t-miss for Savannah locals and visitors alike. 

Fancy Parker's

Savannah is known for its tree lined squares and parks. It is the ideal city to sit among the trees with a little nosh and wine. The best spot for all your impromptu picnic needs is Fancy Parker’s. A gourmet market and 24 hour convenience store, you can find almost anything your heart desires for a snack and beverage. They have a wide selection of local cheeses, crackers, beer, wine, sandwiches, salads as well as the chips and candy you can find at any Parker’s. 

E Shaver Booksellers

E Shaver opened its doors in 1975, establishing this independent bookstore as a Savannah staple. Ed and Esther Shaver created the shop in a historic building, keeping the charm and filling the rooms with winding shelves of vintage and new books. Get lost in this almost-mystical bookshop, grab a story from a local author, or find your new favorite novel. 

The Stevedore Bakery and Coffee Shop

The Stevedore is a unique spot, tucked away with the Thompson Hotel. It is a modern space with expertly crafted bread, pastry, and coffee offerings. They source flour from a local mill in South Carolina, ham from Tennessee, and cheese from right here in Georgia, amongst other local ingredients. They offer a great variety, always crafting fresh and seasonal menu items. A little off the beaten path of historic Savannah, the Stevedore deserves your visit. 

Big Bon Bodega / Big Bon Pizza

Big Bon Pizza began as a mobile van equipped with a pizza oven. Savannah couldn’t get enough, the truck would be swamped with lines of people and selling out lightning fast. They opened up a brick-and-mortar on Bull Street and expanded into artisan wood-fired bagels. The shop, now called Big Bon Bodega, offers an outstanding menu of made-to-order bagel sandwiches, housemade spreads and, of course, fresh pizza. Big Bon is worth the wait for fresh, hot, delicious bagel sammies.
